OUR HISTORY
60's
On the initiative of FranÇoise Vincent, Promostyl is launched with a staff of ten people and financial support from investors.
The style office creates and sells colour palettes for spinners and weavers. Its credo: fashion for everyone by the democratisation of ready-to-wear.
1969 The creation of the Children’s Trendbook

70's
1969-1972 The launching of the Women’s, Men’s and Fabrics books.
1979 The Accessories, Home and Beauty books are published, as well as, the “Basic” book or how to work on the evolution of an already well-known product. Promostyl uses, for the first time, the term “Basic”, which quickly entered the common language.

80's
1980 Promostyl surrounds itself with sociologists and marketing experts to define socio-cultural trends.
1985 The notion of influence: Promostyl follows the evolution of society and consumers habits. The books trends are not seen through fashion themes any longer but rather through broader social-cultural influences.
1989 Set up of a “graphics” unit for a coherent image policy between the trendbooks, the mailings and the publicity.
 
90's
1990 Diversification through collaborations on trend forums and tradeshow organizers.
1992 Launch of Ecostyle, a book dedicated to ecological materials.
1995 Sport & Street book is created.
1996 Actuastyl is published; a new book specialized in updates and new collections.

2000 to 2004 Various indepth studies of the junior, children and senior women’s market.
