Introducing Maïwenn Nicolas, a 23-year-old photographer whose portfolio merits true recognition. Based is Paris, the recent fashion graduate is in charge of Public Relations for 3 made-to-measure brands and earlier this year we were lucky enough to have her interning with us at Promostyl.
During this time, we discovered her photographic universe which exudes just as much charm and personality as the modest talent herself. I met up with Maïwenn a few weeks ago at one of Paris’ trendier cafés to learn more about herself and her work. Having arrived in cat eye sunglasses and a pale pink cruise ensemble, she fitted into the surroundings perfectly.
Scognamiglio Gioielli is a family affair that was born in the coral capital, Torre del Greco. Since 1980, the family have been developing its creations in Naples. Ariello, the son of the brand’s founder, took the torch and marched into the tastes of today whilst maintaining ancient stone and corn sizing techniques, revisiting the engravings of a rock inspiration.
Christelle Kocher founded her trademark “Koché” in 2014, after having worked with the greatest brands: Lesage, Lemarié, Sonia Rykiel and Dries Van Notten. An inspiration that can be found in her latest collection SS16, that the stylist, selected on the shortlist of the LVMH 2016 has fully developped on her tumblr.
POP by Stella McCartney is decidedly our fragrance of the summer. Designed for the new generation of Stella Girls, said to be independent “but strengthened by their togetherness”, the perfume’s advertisement campaign features 4 of the coolest young woman on the fashion scene right now.
Australian photographer Dean West was born in 1983 and now lives in New York. He started his series « Palm Springs II, The Painted Photograph », in 2015, where he decided to repaint his photographs in order to give them an added dimension.

Another favourite of ours from Paris’ Tranoï Exhibition is young Parisian brand, Sempervivum. Founded in 2014, the label was created from the collective drive of three young designers Gilles, Lola & Thibault to create clothing free from conventions.
