New York store Opening Ceremony hosts a pink fibreglass installation

The Opening Ceremony store located between Soho and Chinatown in New York is already an essential part of the contemporary fashion scene, and is now trying its hand at design experimentation.

For his corner in the multi-brand store owned by Kenzo creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, the American designer Patrik Ervell chose to present his latest collection within a pink fibreglass installation, skilfully reconverting an industrial object into an unusual design piece.

Zhongshu Books – no ordinary book store

Wutopia Lab has just finished construction of the new and colourful Zhongshu Books, a book store in the city of Suzhou, China. The book store is divided into four main zones, all evocatively named. You have the Crystal Sanctuary at the entrance; the Firefly Cave; the Xanadu of Rainbows, and the Castle of Innocence, a space designed as a kids-only reading room.

A café-showroom built using recycled wood in Bangkok
