A MUSHROOM PLANTER DECORATES OLDERBROTHER’S STORE

The clothing brand Olderbrother has designed an unusual décor for its Los Angeles store in California and has had the great idea of placing enormous containers filled with mushrooms at the centre. They more than just adding a touch of greenery to the space, above all, these mushrooms are a symbol of the brand’s unique dyeing and production techniques.

Eduard Eremchuk’s design for the Like Shop showroom blurs artistic boundaries

For the Like Shop concept store in Rostov-sur-le-Don in Russia, young architect and interior designer Eduard Eremchuk has dreamt up an original decor with yellow walls and changing rooms in pink fur. The place echoes the work of artist James Turell and famous designer Alexander McQueen and is sure to be heavily featured on Instagram.

Versace gives its Miami boutique an eco-friendly update

The famous Italian fashion house Versace has called on the talents of Gwenaël Nicolas, the designer who founded the Japanese studio Curiosity and has worked for Dolce & Gabbana, Moynat and Berluti among others, to develop a new store concept. He has come up with a dazzling new futuristic concept for the Miami store that meets environmental standards.

Claus Porto gets a new tunnel-shaped store in New York

Claus Porto, a brand specialising in high-end perfumery and soaps, has just revealed a new store in New York’s Nolita neighbourhood. The store architecture, designed to provide a rest for the senses with its ergonomic shape, inspired by aerospace design and created by the Brooklyn studio Tacklebox Architecture, pays tribute to the brand’s Portuguese roots.

A FIRST STORE LIKE A THEATRE SET FOR THE DEAR SO CUTE BRAND

The design studio Lukstudio has come up with the new store for the Dear So Cute platform in Haining, China. The store has been designed as a real meeting place with a retail space along with a cafe. With a minimal contemporary design that adopts decorative elements borrowed from the world of theatre, the store embodies the brand values.

The designer Alykhan Velji returns to his roots for Mobilia

The designer Alykhan Velji, based in Calgary in Canada, has returned to his Indian roots to create his new Modern India furniture line for Mobilia. Composed of 15 pieces, the collection includes a wooden bench, coffee tables, a mirror, a console table and chairs inspired by Indian architecture and motifs.

A FIRST DESIGN STORE FOR THE MKDT BRAND

Located on Strandstræde in Copenhagen, the clothing brand Mark Kenly Domino Tan – also known by the abbreviation MKDT – has opened its first brick-and-mortar store created by the David Thulstrup studio. Designed to reflect the spirit of the brand, the store boasts a minimalist design in soft and luminous shades.
